VIRUS WIPES  - PROVEN - kill flu virus (Aug 09 tested by VLA - part of DEFRA).

We produce a range of sanitising hand and surface products that are effective against flu virus.  Flu viruses are susceptible to disinfectants with good activity.  Whilst H1N1 is new, tests against other strains including H5N1 Avian Flu Virus has demonstrated that, outside of the body, these viruses can be destroyed by good hygiene products.  Few products are tested on H1N1 because of restrictions on the virus availability, usually a psuedo virus is tested, and that may well be an animal strain.

General scientific opinion is that if you use good qulaity products that are shown to be effective against flu viral strains, they will be effective against H1N1.

• cover their mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing,
• after using a tissue throw it away quickly and wash hands regularly with soap and water
• clean hard surfaces (like door handles and phone handsets, computer keyboards) frequently with a Maclin Virus Wipe or normal cleaning product
